Foreward Thinking in Real Estate

by Eric Yerke

Real Estate is an industry that is undergoing a revolution. Why?

The internet.

84% off all people are now finding and buying their homes online. No longer are the homes on the market only in the possession of Realtors. People simply turn on their computers to check out the current inventory. It’s obvious that you must catch a buyers attention online to entice them to come view your home.

How do you get a buyer’s attention online?   This starts with listing your home with an agent who “gets it.”  A few things we will work on to drive quality traffic to your home are:

Real Estate is all about exposure. 9 out of 10 agents’ marketing stops at listing your home on the MLS.  We make your home extremely visible all over the internet. We need to get it sold because the DOM (days on market) are ticking away. The longer it’s on the market, the lower the offers will be.

About Eric Yerke

Yerke CrewI pursued Real Estate as a career after I bought my first home for sale by owner. Today, I still wish that I used an agent when I purchased my home. Anyways, I’m a down to earth person who enjoys helping people come out ahead in life. What better way to do that then Real Estate?

I’m proud to say that I’m a full-time agent at Coldwell Banker in Cedar Rapids, and licensed in the state of Iowa.

Here is a short list of facts about me:

  • I graduated from University of Iowa in 2005 for graphic design and photography.
  • I operate a photography business part-time. eyphotography.com
  • I’m interested in Real Estate, art & photography, technology, and philosophy.
  • I’m happily married, and have beautiful daughter.
  • I’ve lived in California, Florida, Wisconsin, and Iowa
  • I have a dream of one day owning a vacation home in Maui
  • I think that REALTORs talk about themselves too much, and should focus on the clients they serve.
