700+ Cedar Rapids Real Estate agents – Say What!?

It’s time to come out of the past 2 years of hibernating in my Real Estate career.   I’ve been laying low to learn the business, and become equipped with a strong arsenal of tools to give myself a competitive edge over my competition.  I’m competing against 700+ Cedar Rapids area REALTORS.

I’ve been having an internal dilemma about working in this business due to the amount of competition.  The only real way to succeed is to offer something of value that not everybody does.  I see agents everyday working long hours to make 30k/yr.  That type of income isn’t worth the work they are putting in.   They are having to work too hard for their money because they aren’t offering something of value that any other 700 agents can.

My goal was to find a way to offer more than the average agent.   Sorry your agent is working hard for you, because they are working hard to find business.  It’s a tough game to find the business when you have 700+ agents doing the EXACT SAME THING. I knew I’d make it in this business if I found a way to offer something different.

Here are a few ways that I am different than the herd of REALTORS to choose from.

1.  I went to school for graphic design-  Your listing will have a sense of fresh air when potential buyers reach it.  All of the elements of all of our marketing efforts will be carefully considered and consistent.   We’ll put the focus on your home first and not me as an agent!

2.  Professional Photography- You’re home is the biggest purchase of your life, and you expect to sell it without proper photographs?  We’ll spend a few hours in your home making sure the photographs have good lighting, while showing off it’s highlights.  We won’t come to your home with a toy and take a few lousy photos, in hopes somebody sets up a showing.

We will get showings because your home won’t suffer from the limitations of a computer screen.

3.  Your home will be staged- I have a creative eye, and a keen sense of aesthetics.  I can help you make your home sparkle when a buyer comes through it.  Our goal is for that buyer to fall in love with your home, and write a strong offer.

4. Your home will go through the complete formula for receiving strong offers in a short amount of time, putting more money in your pocket.  Real Estate is about exposure and we won’t stop at simply listing your home on the MLS.

5.  I answer my phone.  Sounds like a no-brainer but this might be the biggest out of any of these benefits.  I’m not saying that all agents don’t answer their phone, but most are lacking in this area.  Your home will be my top priority and answering your phone call is where it starts.  Call me 319.241.SOLD

We encourage you to go visit some of the competition and really evaluate if they are worth 7% value of your home.  How can somebody justify charging you that amount when they don’t even take something as basic as photography serious?
